'Terp
Inspired by a true story, 'Terp tells the story of an Afghan American interpreter working in the US military. As she quickly discovers her job will bring up brutal complexities as gender and religious barriers emerge with lives hanging in the balance.
The sequal to 'Terp, Day One, was nominated for Best Short Film, Live Action at the 88th Academy Awards 2016.
