ASHLAND
ASHLAND is a feature length documentary focusing on a diverse group of people living in the sacred lands of Eastern Montana. Shot on S16mm over the course of 8 years, the film examines the hopes and dreams of young people, horse whisperers, Indigenous elders, and mystics. With an intimate gaze, it presents a hopeful vision of a shifting world, offering a rare portrait of identity, resilience, and place. Supported by the Big Sky Film Grant, Film Independent and the Montana Film Office.
